The Dhammapada

Knock and he’ll open the door

Knock,
and He’ll open the door.
Vanish,
and He’ll make you shine like the sun.

Fall,
and He’ll raise you to the heavens.
Become nothing,
and He’ll turn you into everything!

Rumi

Sever attachment to the Dharma

For the seasoned practitioner, even the Dharma must not become an attachment.

As an analogy; to clean a shirt, it is necessary to use soap. However, if the suds are not then rinsed out, the garment will not be truly clean. Similarly, the practitioner’s mind will not be fully liberated until he severs attachment to everything, including the Dharma itself.
